I was asked if Husrt 4 speed and top loader style shifter rods were the same (72') for a A 833 A-Body trans. I thought not from various reference pictures, but I thought I would ask for another opion.

I really doubt the rods would be the same, there was never a top loader made for an A-Body AFAIK, so why would they be the same? The 833 has the reverse rod that goes under the crossmember...
