I'm putting a chassis works 4 link setup in my car. It says to set the front 4 link braket 5.5" off the ground. Will it screw up any thing if I have it higher and do the 4 link bars have to be the same length. It doesn't look like it should be by the blue print. But a friend of my says they should be.

he's probably talking about the IC being 5.5" above the ground not the bracket. and yes the bars have to be the same length.

No it's the bracket, they have a 3.5" and a 5.5" ground clearance on thier kit.

You can fudge the four link bracket per the ride height of your car. It won't matter if the four link bars are equal length, and they won't be on your alston kit. Mike

How much higher ??

I would determine the height of the lowest hole on the axle bracket and make sure I didn't put the lowest hole on the frame bracket any higher with the car in its static height.

thers only so much you can move the bracket. as long as the bars are equal length side to side it doesn't make any difference if they are off top to bottom. most kits come with the top bars shorter. for some reason I thought you were talking side to side.the very bottom of my front 4 link bracket on my back half challenger is at 5.5 but the center of the bottom hole is about 6.5 from the ground with a stock front end at ride height. hope that helps
