Ok guys, I am here to pick your brain but what do you think about a Mod Man vs. the indy 440-25 crossram.

2x4 tops on both. All out race. The runners are a lot shorter on the modman vs, the extremely long flat runners of the crossram.

It would be going on a 557 inch motor.

do you think that this could be a better intake or no? Just want to pick your brains and see what you think.

Looks to me like the modman has a real flat plenum.. which i dont know why they wouldnt go with more of a tunnel ram v-shape?

its more of a street manifold ,then a race manifold

I've been wondering the same thing Casey. If it performes the same it would be half the price(If pricing is the same as the other engine groups) and fit under the hood better. If more plenum volume is needed spacers could be made fairly easy.

What is the Mod Man? Is this a commercially availbel piece or a modified factory intake?

Its indys new intake with interchangable tops. six pac, 4150, ect.
