I'm thinking about getting Torq Thrust D s for the new Dart Project. Any pics? Anyone run these?
They list Gray and Original Gray, what's the difference? Thanks!

I love the D's, too bad they don't make them 12" wide

Aren't the torq thrusts (and their sister wheels) all a 3.5" backspace (at least the 8 or 8.5" widths)?
Thought a 4.5" backspace worked best on most mopes, but see alot of the torq thrusts out there, so a bit confused.

I ask because I'm considering them for the 64 fury vert we're doing.

American racing wheels are heavy.

These are nicer + they put the backspacing where you want it, but they do cost more.

as GEnsrud said they come in a couple of offsets. the 1s on my clone are an 8" with 4.5 bs, an option am racing releases a couple of time a yr. got mine off ebay from rons rims in pa. prior to get in them i tried the 7" &8.5" with 3.75 bs. the 7' rolled the tire too much and the 8.5 stuck out past the fender. that is with mickey radial et drags p295x 15.

Cool car. I agree, and was trying to add a little color to the white?

Check, newstalgiawheel.com, they list a 12 inch wheel.
RoadRunner, thanks, now I know they look good on a white car!
Thanks everyone. bigdad good info on a cool shop, see also newstalgiawheel.com above also.
Some great cars have torq thrust wheels. In the pic above I have some Alumistars, but as much as I love the wheels, I just don't think they fit the build.

I tried again, and found them,
www.newstalgiawheel.com
Then click on, Street Rod and Musclecar Wheels in the upper left box.
Then click on, American Racing.
Then find and click on, CL205 Torq Thrust Custom Built.
Scrole down to 15 X 12, they have a BS of 3.75 to 7.00. $305.95 ea.
