I recently checked my front moroso drag tires, they look brand new with no cracking or dry rot,but they are dated 2000 I'm getting a little leery 10 yrs. going on 11. it's seem like something you forget about. I think it's time for a new set.just wondering how long some other racer keep their tires going for. John

I look at my fronts ALL the time(couple times a day
at the track)... I corner a little faster than I should
(sometimes) on shorter tracks... I get 3-4 years out
of the fronts... I try to make it 4 years so I buy
my rears every 2 years and fronts every 4 years

I replace mine every year regardless.

I was in the same boat with the same tires..they look great..I know they been on there 8 years anyhow.. I put a new set on last year just because........................I feel better now.

always play it safe...only you know the abuse they take and the rubber subjected to UV rays..

well, you got me thinking. mine are going on ten years old, but they've had a very easy life. eighth mile, and when they're not racing, they're in a dark climate controlled garage with no weight on them. they look brand new.

I replace the fronts every year and the rears every 12-15 passes. Kind of expensive but want to be certain I have no tire issues! Keep the old fronts around incase you puncture one at the track like I did this year. Allowed me to win the championship!

Rule of for most tire mfg's is 8 years ( a lot of variables here ). I change mine out after 5. If I were running around 150, I'd roll fresh rubber every year.
