I AM RUNNING STAGE 6 HEADS AND HAVE MOPAR 1.5 ALUMINUM ROLLER ROCKERS THAT CAME WITH THE HEADS WHEN I BOUGHT THEM. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY TAKE A SPECIAL ROCKER. I WOULD LIKE TO GO TO A 1.6 OR 1.7 DUE TO LOW LIFT ON MY SOLID ROLLER CAM. THE CAM IS A DOUG HERBERT 272-275@.50 .620 LIFT. I TRIED A SET OF PROFORM AND THEY DIDNT WORK OF MY 906 HEADED 440. THE ROLLER SIDE SEEMED TO BE TO SHORT AND DIDNT REACH THE VALVE.

Yes they take a special offset intake rocker.(I think the offset is .485 but someone on here will know for sure)

I would recommend Harland Sharps and they will have different ratios.

Stage VIs, unless they're the MW version, do NOT require anything special in rocker arm offset. Do the MP rockers you have now interchange between int & exh, or do the intakes have more pushrod offset?

How is the valve sweep pattern w/ the MP rockers? Crane used to make the MP rockers and they typically "fit" the Stage VIs OK. But on occasion MP would have some bizarre QC screw-ups that totally hosed the rocker arm geometry... like on MY set.

Proform rockers are JUNK and probably don't fit any BB head correctly.

Increasing the rocker ratio may result in pushrod interference issues that can be solved only by grinding additional clearance on the intake pushrod tunnels. The exhaust have tons of room, though.

BTW, please turn your caps lock OFF.

THE MOPAR ROCKERS SEEM TO FIT GOOD. THE INTAKE AND EXHAUST ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT IN COLOR SO I HAVE JUST ALWAYS KEPT THEM SEPERATE AND NOT MIXED THEM UP. I DID HAVE TO PUT A .010 SHIM UNDER THE SHAFT TO GET THE SWEEP RIGHT ON THE VALVE TIP. THE MOPAR ROCKERS ARE OK QUALITY BUT I WOULDNT MIND UPGRADING THEM. SEEMS LIKE THE CAM COULD USE MORE LIFT TO GAIN A LITTLE MORE H.P. I THINK!!! MAYBE NOT???? TEHY ARE NOT THE MAX WEDGE PORTS.

If your MP/Crane rockers are set up correctly (valve sweep, pushrod length), you'll find the actual ratio is probably in the 1.55-1.58 range already. Crane typically "over-ratioed" their rockers for whatever reason. They're not the only ones, but I've measured enough Cranes to know this applies to their BBM roller rockers.

Do you think it would be worth changing them? any E.T. gains? Change the cam? Just looking to go faster as always.

FWIW, I think you'll see a bigger improvement from a cam swap that uses your current rockers than a rocker swap that uses your current cam.
