My Crower 4.625" started with an E, and was 5 digits the best I remember.

thanks Fred, I am really not concerned. I am pretty confident it's a billet Crower.

Top of the line build forgot to include flat washers under those top of the line main bolts.

ARP includes them for a reason. I would think leaving out the hardened and ground washers would throw off your torque value a little. What advantage is there to leaving them out?

Not to mention who uses Oliver rods and billet cranks and doesn't use main studs?

I was gonna go there, but I didn't want to sound too critical.

The purpose of the washer on arp's is to give the radius on the bottom of the bolt head room to sit flat. If not the bolt would gouge into a drilled hole that wasn't radiused.

Either way a hardened washer is good insuarance.

don't put studs in it now, just put washers under the bolts, and use the correct torque for the lube you use. one at a time.
