it probably is worth waiting for, but i could'nt wait anymore. ss 700 on the way.  i would still like to try one thou.....

no. they are shipping the pre-orders now...
For Mopars? Last time I checked, they were still in the development stages for Mopars. Think they're shipping pre-orders for GM cars now.

you guys can be the guineau pigs . im not hacking my car to fit in a corvette tranny . im stickin it out , and beleive me im ready for one , but im not gonna abuse myself , been there seen that ..

and you dont think you will be a guinea pig with any new trans?  this is not a corvette trans either. you are thinking of a tremec.....

Customer service has always been responsive
With this vendor - im certain it will be
Just as good after the release .. If not better .
This is hot roddin , use whoevers you want !
Ive learned patience and perseverance with this hobby brings success.
BTW im not here to bicker with anyone - this post is to enlighten the peoples waitin for this product .. who cares what the other guys are doin .. But the thread IS getting polluted .. I am at fault for adding to it , sorry ..

I have nothen bad to say about jamie
but... there is no 100% that the new tranny will ever be open to purchase outright
i realize how much work hes put into making it 110% but sometimes the market window is missed

Are designing a special blade formulated
To cut through virgin sheetmetal ..and moog is coming out with a special drag link , and spicer is creating an offset joint
To repair pinion angle problems . All motives to create such products evident in the ongoing post in question and answer forum on moparts .
All products Due to be released soon .
They better hurry , id hate to use a plasma cutter and burn
Through my carpet.!

Look at it like this
there is not millions of people gonna line up to buy
and were talking abount a nice chunk of coin
some will wait and hope it makes it to market(wich i hope it does)
some will grow tired of waiting for a day that possible will never come
and want to drive there car now
will buy what on the market NOW
not many of the people will buy one now.and later also buy the passion tranny
again the line of people that can/will lay down a good chunk of coin for a aftermarket trans is not miles long
its been a long time sence the news of this tranny and still no product with no 100% you will ever get one for what ever reason
id love.to have one and know he wants it to be 100% for the market its simple people will buy based on the opptions they have in front of them

Yeah, like nobody buys Tremecs to put in their musclecars? I've lost count of how many companies offer packages. It it wasn't popular there would only be Keisler.
There will be people interested in 5 and 6 speeds for many years to come. I want a Passon 5 spd as well, and went through enough of a nightmare with Keisler to never want to deal with them again. Instead I ordered a Hemi OD from Passon. At least I know it will fit, and it will never blow up. And, Jamie actually answers the phone and emails.
Let him get the 5spd squared away.

I just went back and looked...THIS thread alone anounceing the debute and testing the fit is over 2years old
would the thought even been there from jamie to build a brand new tranny if the others tranny/s would actually fit our cars with out cutting.........being such a large market for them as some think

It sounds like that some think that Jamie is dragging his feet on this and hasn't released it because he doesn't want to get up off the couch and pause his video game. I'm sure it is far from this.
I'm certain he wants these in your hands as much as you want them. Good grief, he's got a pile of cash invested and the last thing he wants is to lose sales because people go someplace else. I'm sure it's driving him crazy, too.
But I for one commend him for making it right before he releases them. Seems like most of society would have put them out hoping that they wouldn't break but knowing there was a good chance they would.
Give him a break, I'm sure he's working on this as hard as he can. And don't forget, he's at the mercy of suppliers, just like you are having to wait for him.
I'm sure it will be worth it.

you know how it is when you get the buy a brand new car bug....but if for some reason ya hold off the urge passes???
