Darren,
Actually I wasn't gonna say anything, but I am already working on a bolt in 12 speed. The case is made of unobtanium, You shift it with mental telepathy. It weighs 49 lbs and I am going to sell it for $299.00. Hopefully this isn't too much! Oh and it can take 4500 ft lbs of torque indefinitely!

Actually the McLeod is a T5. Sugarloaf IS near Hazleton. The new shop is outside Tamaqua. There's 40 acres to park the 72 ft. rig on... The problem is getting the 72 ft rig to the 40 acres!

Tamaqua I remember seeing the signs for that too.

Looks like a really great product. I'm a 100% satisfied Keisler TKO-600 customer also, put it in my 69 R/T convertible as a swap from an automatic, OD in these old cars is a WONDERFUL thing! Thanks for all of your time and financial investment in making it happen.

What says that even 3/4's of the people who are going to buy this transmission have high horsepower cars? LOL...or even better, are going drag race them....just a thought

Nobody,,,,but ,,,,

The problem with producing a part of this nature. The manufacturer has to look at it from several different angles, with a worst case scenario with the most obvious being it's going to be used and abused.

I have no dog in this battle, I've made it quite clear I personnly have no interest in a manual trans car. MY idea of fun in the old cars is click it down in drive, push the a/c button and slam the loud pedal on the right

MY hats off to Jamie for his business additude, this country needs many more people like this .
I have a customer with a 1969 Daytona with a Hemi and 4 speed and told him of this trans possibility and he's interested.

I've been watching from the sidelines for quite a while now...

First, Jamie, THANK YOU for building it here!!!

I'm building my '68 Charger for the Silver State Classic and high speed is the name of the game. I need to be able to do up to 165mph sustained for 90 miles to be competitive in the 150 class. I've taken the '67 Charger and its 727 automatic to it's competitive max doing 140 in the 125 average class turning 5200 rpm. The 496 has more than enough power and safely turns over 7000, I just don't want to sustain over about 5500 average or have to really break 6000 for any reason. Your 5 speed is the answer to my problems. Quality is the absolute utmost proirity. The '68 is still a year or two away from needing a trans, so I'll continue to watch the progress and real-world results. I'm in line for one, just standing a little farther back until the car is ready.

Thank you again. Engineers/Machinists like me depend on people like you to keep the work here.

This trans is beyond my budget...for now, but you can bet your bottom dollar that when it's not, there'll be one on order. Also happy to see that you're sticking to your guns on where it's being manufactured. We've been programmed to somehow accept poor quality as normal because " I didn't pay that much for it anyways" or "Just buy a new one. It's cheaper than fixing it." Chaps my hide quite frankly. How are we supposed to TRULY teach the next generation responsible management of the environment and our resources when this is the attitude and practice that they see? Build/buy a quality product. Fix it when it malfunctions. Pay a fair price. Keep the dollars at home. IMHO, hotrodders are the automotive industries real recyclers.

I'm sorry...I didn't see me get up on my soapbox, but here I am! Kudos, Jamie, and I hope to see great feedback and sales for you in the very near future!

I was also hoping the trans would be in the 3K range but that was just wishful thinking but I am still sure glad that Jamie stepped up to bat and produced a trans made in the USA for mopar guys that can afford it. It also means that there is a chance that I will be able to get a used one some day.

There are alot of things in this hobby regular mopar guys like me cannot afford like twin turbo Hemis for example But I still have fun with my 500RB with factory 4speed trans.

Good job Jamie! I hope ya sell alot of them!

Jamie, I sent you an e-mail on your webpage.
When will you have the B-Body units in stock?

I have to do my taxes before knowing if I can afford one this year.

The car is the '69 Coronet R/T convertible 440 4-speed pictured in my profile picture.
I originally came with the 3.54:1 Dana 60, but the guy I bought it from installed 4.10:1 gears.

Jamie,
any plans for an adapter or shifter so our original inland shift handles will work?

From Page 2 of this thread....

I will try to answer some of the questions I saw.
At this time, no 23 spline. If we do that, we are going to lower the torque capacity of the trans significantly. It just doesn't make sense to spend more money to tool up for a weaker design.

There are tapered rollers throughout the trans. Input shaft, mainshaft and cluster gear front and rear.
Gear Ratios are

2.64
1.92
1.40
1.00
.70

Weight is 105 lbs

Thanks,
Jamie

I checked with Jamie,
the waiting list grows each and every day. Call now to get your name on the list. I will give you one guess who is #1 on the list

This transmission is a major event in the world of mopar. I am sure the other trans people who charm us with their infomercial type marketing and questionable values are nervous...and they should be.

For all of us waiting...be patient as this is a no compromise, true bolt in, DIRECT replacement transmission, that will transform your ride in about 2 hours or less.
