Brian I think you can pretty much do whatever you want. Port as much as you want and put as big as valves that it will fit.

So I found that my engine I have right now is legal for SS/TA. I just need to get a new intake and switch to a 850 carb from the efi.

Class min wt is like 3165. I am a lil over at 3400 lol. Then the index is 9.90. Truck has gone 10.teens. I know we can make it run mid 9s with some changes so maybe I won't need to build a new bullet. Need to go on a diet. Atkins for my truck!

in a 2009 rulebook it says 3350 lb minimum 8.5lbs/cu inch if you have an auto trans you can be 5% or 250lbs lighter whichever is less

3165lbs would be a 392 inch motor
