Anybody know how to turn off maint. reqiured light on 92 dakoda.Not the check engine light.I had no luck at auto zone,advance,even a couple of mopar dealers.Thanks for any replies.

OK..
Here you go..

1. Remove 5 screws and remove the lower dash cover below the steering column and headlight switch.
2. Find the blue box under the headlight switch. It measures about 3"x4"
3. Carefully wiggle the box off of the bracket it is attached to.
4. One end of the box has a large rectangular opening you should be able to see easily.
5. There is a smaller hole that allows you to see inside of the box through the battery hole. Just inside of this hole you will see a small micro switch. The micro switch was the push button type.
6. Start the car and use a pencil or thin paint brush handle or some other similar, non-conducting tool to gently press the button. Your Maint Requi light should be out.
7. Reassemble.

Tools needed:
A. Phillips head screw driver
B. Paint brush handle (to press the button)
C. A drop light to see by

Try the above, and post back your sucess.

......or remove the bulb and never deal with it again.
