How tough a job is it to change the serpentine belt on a 2001 Cruiser? I read where you remove the right front tire, a panel in the fender well and a shield over the belt. Then remove and replace the belt, the shield, the panel and the wheel.

Is that it or is there more. I want to save my daughter a little money by doing the job. What would it cost to have it done and how long will it take for me to do it.

Thanks in advance.

It's not bad. Space is tight but the belt isn't very long since it doesn't drive everything.

think only hard part is taking off a/c belt off first to get at serpentine belt.

Get the car up and take off what you said. After that the belts arent too bad.You have to do them from under the car.Rocky
