I decided to extend the rocker panels and front fenders down 2 1/4 inches. I wanted to get rid of that aweful pinch weld and flat spot on the lower part of the rockers. The result is a more finished look, the car appears lower than it is, and it hides the exhaust and underside much better.

In order to hide the window channel molding I extended the drip rails, I used some 22 gauge steel bent ant a 90 angle then stretched around the drip rail area and welded in.

That sounds great JD, I had to cut out the sheet metal above the mufflers because it was only a 1/2 clearance between the muffler and the floor,so I am gonna have to modify the back seat frame and anchor points anyway.

Setting the driveline angle at 1 degree down instead of the standard 3 degree keeps the exhaust closer to the floor and requires floor mods but the benifit of lowering the car another inch or so is worth it.

I moved my wheels out, 1 inch on the back and a 1/2 on the front. I need to roll the wheel lips to do that and was gonna do the ole baseball bat and the jack routine but decided to use the eastwood lip tool. It took me a 1/2 a wheelwell and did a nice job.

A little more progress. I flush mounted and made my own taillights +bezels . This gets rid of the seam and brings the lenses flush to the surface

I mocked up the hood latch cover today.

I wanted to keep the air directed thru the radiator it also closes up that large gap between the radiator support and header panel.I made it from some 6061 aluminum. I plan on adding the hood pop up spring and hood release.
