You are asking for a REPOSESSED hood?
Well, I guess a repo would be cheaper than a reproduction.

You are talking about the 70 T/A snorkel hood right and not the R/T twin scoop power bulge hood?

If you are then 71 T/A knows a guy who makes excellent T/A repops. He does great work. Around $800 + shipping IIRC.

I thought First place or someone made the reproduction for the later models....

If they don't make them then I will redo my existing hood......I just wanted everything premolded into the hood as one piece like original....

A 70 hood will fit 70-74.. There was no 73 T/A but a 70 T/A hood will fit your 73.... There are a few manufacturers...

I thought so.....but I have not looked into this for almost a few yrs and forgot if they matched up due to the 70-71 fenders being different......

SO whats the best repro hood? I found the hard way to buy quality first not later

A place called ASC&P makes the best quality T/A hood.
They are out of PA and advertise in Hemmings.

My vote is for AAR. Very nice piece, just not real light. My paint and body guy was impressed...and he is a chevy guy. The difference between 70 and 73 is the front hood edge trim...the way they are attached. My hood requires the 70 trim piece.

Get ahold of 71T/A here at Moparts.
He has an ASC&P T/A hood on his Challenger and knows a fair amount about them.

I have an old glass T/A hood on my street/strip 1973 Challenger from Unlimited Fiberglass.
My hood fits very well but does not have the rear screens and squirters, and is not very well finished underneath. It is a bolt on and is light.
According to Unlimited's website they retooled their T/A hoods and the rear screen indentations are now on their new T/A hoods and the underside is better finished.

I bought my hood brand new at a swap meet for $150 many years ago and is perfect for what I want.

There is also another T/A hood advertised on E-bay often that has be getting very good reviews.
