Have you tried BLP Products? I'd look but can't do it from work.

Thanks Stephen! I actually have their web site saved on my computer...I didn't think they sold the screw-in bleeds and restrictors, though! I'll contact them for info! Thanks! Is BLP anywhere near Church Street Station? I use to live in the Orlando area from 1980-1987...been there many times! RandyB

Holley sells them also.

If the picture of your carb is accurate, you should rotate the top of the throttle bracket down a little so the cable is straight. The cable should pull in a straight line. That is why the top of the bracket is adjustable.

Yes they are, just closer to the OBT.

Good eye,Andy! I'll have to adjust that! Am I right in assuming that there are 2 IFR's in the Primary metering block? I'm thinking of changing the IAB's and the IFR's at the same time...is this a good,or bad idea? Thanks Andy!

Two IFRs in each pri/sec metering block........i'd look towards opening IABs as opposed to IFRs to get a baseline.......increasing IABs .005" will have a noticeable effect........you could put some wire in the IFRs for a temporary fix.

Thanks Adam! That's what I thought...2 IFR's per metering block! The IAB's were .070's as received from Bigs, and they were changed to .075's...still too rich at idle! Original idle feed restrictors were .035's...currently .033's. When trying to lean the idle circuit out...should the air bleeds and/or feed restrictors be changed on the secondary side as well? Thanks!

Some carbs utilizing metering plates instead of blocks will use different size pri/sec IABs.

What size IABs/IFRs are in there @ the moment? , would say .070 bleed/.037 restrictor?....i had this issue & just restricted pri/sec idle fuel restrictor with some .010" steel wire , ran it like this all the time i had this carb , maybe it's still got those wires in there , increase/decrease bleeds/restrictors in .005" increments , this will be plenty enough to notice a change air/fuel ratio , obviously changing the air bleeds would be the easier option unless you've got some gaskets on hand.

Adam..carb was sent to me with .075 pri. and .076 sec. IAB's. The IFR's are .033 pri. and .033 sec. They were both leaned out by the owner after receiving it from Bigs Carburetors. I just ordered some IAB's from Jeg's. The sizes were .078...080..and .085.

Can't see the reason for the .001" increase in bleed size , maybe that was all that was available @ the time.

Had a 1050 dominator with .072 bleeds/.037" restrictors , ended up with .025" IFRs.

Hope all goes well.

.037 to .025 on the IFR's? That's a BIG difference! Must have been REAL rich at idle!??? Thanks for your input,Adam! Where are ALL the carb guru's hiding???
