I have located a set of aluminum hemi rods that are new (never used)at a very reasonable price. The only problem is that they are for 1.09 pin and I need a 1.03 pin size. Is it possible to bush these small ends for a reasonable price and would it be any detriment to the rod?? Thanks, Max

the aluminum coefficient of expansion is high compared to Al-Si-Bronze. It would probably fall out after it got to temperature.

Yes it can be done! have to find the right shop to do it? I had Diamond to some back about 2003. They don't do that anymore, the whole machine shop is gone now?
