Went to Fayetteville on Sunday to make some passes w/ the cuda.
I swapped my Ray Barton manifold out for an Indy 426-4. It seemed to help the upper rpm power, as expected. 60 foot suffered a little from both the manifold swap and the fact that I was running open headers. It makes a little bit more lowend torque w/ the bullet mufflers on it...they basically act like collector extensions.

I did some tuning w/ jetting and carb spacers.

I tried my 1" HVH super sucker and it went 9.68 at 139.53 mph w/ a 1.38 sixty foot.

I got a 9.66 at 140.1 mph w/ a 1.37 sixty foot. This was w/ my Pro Systems 1200 cfm dominator w/ a 1" open spacer and 90/98 jetting.

Now I swapped on the 1212 cfm SV1 straight from Sledgie who was nice enough to let me borrow it.
Jetted 93 square it went 9.70 at 139.45 mph w/ a 1.40 sixty foot.
It had a slight hesitation and felt a little soft out the gate. I felt like the jetting was a little lean so I bumped it up to 96 square and it did not like it at all. Real soft out the gate (1.41 sixty foot) and started running snotty as he11 so I aborted the run.

Then the staging lanes closed and we had to leave. I did not get as many passes as I'd hoped for. I think the SV1 is a good carb, but not worth the cost of changing from my current carb. The throttle response is snappy, but has a whole different feel to it. Guess I'm just used to normal dominators.
I'm going to drive it around on the street some this weekend to see how its manners are. Not sure yet if I'll be going back to the track w/ it.
I feel like it was very close on my first run and didn't run as good as I'd expected. With that said, If I was starting from scratch I'd definitely buy one of these carbs. It did run good, but I don't think they're nearly as good as some claim they are. Not to mention you can't find any good results from back to back testing from anyone. Patrick James did tell me that at the most I may see a tenth of a second difference.

I know this isn't the test results some of you may have been looking for, but it is what it is. I would have liked to make more passes, and I may still go back and try it again, just not sure at this point. I think it's a great carb, but not necessarily any better than what I currently have.

Most of all I have to give a big thank you to Sledgie! I've never met him or talked on the phone, but he was nice enough to let me borrow his carb. Great guy, thanks Jason!

probably not possible but i think you should try the super sucker and open spacer with your old carb but it might not fit
