I have a customer that wants to buy a 2002-2006 Viper.
Problem is that he's 275 lbs. and 6 foot 5 inches tall and fitting into there is a bit awkward.
He came in this morning and told me that he thought he had read or heard somewhere that there was a kit that relocated the pedals and reposistioned the seats so a big person like him could get in there.

Anyone heard of such a kit? And if so where to get them?

Doesn't the Viper have the adjustable pedals? My SRT-10 does and if you slide the seat back and adjust the pedals all the way down a 6'11" can fit in there no problemo.

I know that the last 3 Vipers we had here at the dealership all had adjustable pedals.
Was it maybe an option? Or did they come standard?
What about earlier years?

The pedals are adjustable and there is even a trick to adjust individual pedals within the quadrant.

There are seat lowering kits available, the 1" lowering kit retains the seat for/aft adjuster but the 2" kit eliminates it so the seat position is fixed.

My buddy and I both look directly into the windshield header. He says he will never buy one, I say if you can afford a 40K car, you can get a seat custom built to fix that!

There are kits made for lowering the seat.

The best forums to check would be http://www.viperclub.com/ and http://www.viperalley.com/ .

I can't remember the name of the company that makes them.

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

One supplier is Snakeoyl. Don't know if they are "their" tracks, or not.

Down to just a blue car now.
