I assume a pulley remover is used to get the pulley off... Does it get pressed back on or do they get tightened down with a bolt? Thanks

Yes you need a puller. Most big parts stores rent them and you get your deposit back when its returned. They have an installer also.It has different threads that go in the pump snout and a bearing that tightens down on the pulley to install.Rocky

The rebuid kit I bought came with step by step instructions, nothing to tricky about the job. The tanks are really easy to bend so be careful with it.
