If I remove the alternator from a 3.0V6, 92 LeBaron is the serpentine belt tensioner bolt(s)accessable? Need to replace the tensioner

Dunno, BUT there is an engine, either the 3.0 or the 3.3, can't recall which, but it is accessible from rear side of timing cover from underneath vehicle, like I said I can'r remember which of the 2 engines has that rear access.

Its accessable on both the 3.3/3.8 and the 3.0L You will need a 15mm 3/8 drive swivel socket and a long extension accessed from underneith on the back side of engine.

do not take the Alt off take the air cleaner off and the belt off the nut for the tensioner is on the back side just above the exhaust manifold of #1 cyld you should be able to weasel the tensioner out and replace it.

Thanks, guys. I would guess you still have to R&R the alternator even though you're doing it from the bottom.
