OK... So it would have magnum 500 with trim rings and F70 x 14" RWL polyglass tires. asnd the spare would be a F70x14" on a black steel wheel. Yuck! I dont like that look ..... just like the Barrelcuda! Sorry Alan but the Magnums kill it!!! I like either steelies or Rallyes on 15" rims and RWL polyglasses. At least mine has the RWL poly tires, the white stripes are The rest of the Barrelcyda is PERFECT though! I might deviate from what came from the factory on mine here...what do you guys think? After all, they are just bolt on parts...

I hope there are no hard feelings, but really, I was never a fan of the Magnum Wheels....they look so "mustangish"!!! Same deal with the white lines! They look "old" and not very "musclecarish".
The rest of the Barrelcuda is KILLER though!!! I drooled years at the Cars in Barns pics!!! I wanted to clone my 318 71 to look just like it!!!
I love the mopar rallyes, body colored steelies with dogdishes too...the black steelies in 71 also look bad!!!!
I think Im going with 15 x 7 rallyes and RWL 15" polys on mine...screw the buildsheet.

Hey...I don't like them either...I just enjoy restoring a car 100% to the build sheet , nothing added, nothing subracted. I didn't want to restore the car incorrectly.... sooooooo That's why I came up with "DAY TWO"

59 in the spare tire box on line 4 of a b'cast sheet indicates a 14x5.5" black (TX8) painted steel wheel (part #2944236 as indicated above).
Dan, since this part number doesn't appear in the 70-71 parts manual, do you know if the 2944236 wheel was part of the 2944395 assembly?
22-01-5 2944395 14 x 5.50 Spare, w/Decal
Thanks!

off the top of my head I don't remember, but there was a thread a while back that covered some of the wheel info - Wheel Info & NumbersWhat I do remember is the '70 "space saver" rims are manufactured by Kelsey-Hayes & have NO part number on them. The wheels with the 2944395 part number on them are from the mid-'70s F-body (Aspen/Volare) with a Goodyear "space saver".
