not to go too far off topic but has anyone ever installed the medallions AFTER the seats were re-done or is that impossible? I would think the rear seat back might be possible (not easy for sure) but the front I'm thinking no way in he##....
When I bought my RR the front seat had be redone without the medallions. It took me over three years and a lot of money to find a correct set.
As for installing the it was simple.
1. Removed the seat backs from the bench. 2. Marked where the medallions should be attached. 3. Removed the hog rings at the bottom of the seat back. 4. I worked a small piece of wood up between the vinyl and the padding, to provide access. 5. Used a wood burning tool to burn the holes through the vinyl. 6. Installed the pins on the medallions into burned holes and installed the backs. 7. Removed the wood block and reinstalled the hog rings. 8. Reinstalled the seat backs.
Entire process took 30 minutes tops.
