except that the last year for the eight-bolt extended-flange crank was 61. 62's switched from cast iron to aluminum torqueflite and used what we now think of as the "normal" six-bolt standard-flange crank.

If you want to get picky the 361-3 was used in industrial and truck applications into the 70's. '66 was the last year for pass. car use which is what I meant to say in my first post.
And 413coronet, I keep making that mistake...for some reason I always think '62 was the cutoff year even though I know it's '61.

2016 Ram 1500 Crew Cab: 5.7, 65RFE, 4.56 gears with locker, Hemifever tuned, AFE intake, 87mm throttle body, JBA headers, 3" Flowmaster exhaust, split to dual 2.5" exits. 13.57 best ET so far.

361/383/400's all have different casting #'s, therefore they are different blocks. however the main difference is only the bore sizes.
