The code for black w/orange inserts on B bodies is XV... but in the case of an A body, I think the whole seat is orange. It looks correct...

thanks, why would the description say "black& orange"? in the ad it appears as though the hinge cover and perhaps the back is black?

The XV covers the entire interior, not just the seats.

That interior is 100% correct for that car. They call it orange/black because the carpet, dash, headliner, etc... is black,while the seats are orange and so are the door panels.

Yes..in early 71 seat backs are black with orange metal hinge covers and later 71 the seat backs are black with the molded black hinge covers.

I do not have before pictures of that car. It was my own personal Cuda and the orange hinge cover are still original paint.

I had a '71 Duster, same orange interior, as cool as it gets with an orange exterior. It was original & correct.
That's a car I wish I still had, or could buy back...

The ebay car in question has an SPD of May 03,1971. It also has an orange engine

Looks like a very nice car to me. You'd have a hard time replicating that car for the 15k it's going for now.

I've got a set of the later buckets in my basement in orange covers, and the back is all black with the small chrome button, Nice options on the car but it looks like a quick paint job, right over the hood latch ect..

If that were a stick car I'd be on my way to the bank!
