I have a 69 Coronet R/T with build sheet.Under tires is T83 which I think means F 70 14.Under wheel is 16 Q5.Under wheel cov is 89.I have 2 questions, 1) what size is the spare tire(F 70 14)or (7 35 14)? 2)is the rim painted on the front Q5 and the back just black with overspray or all Q5? Thanks to all in advance

JohnRR I Win Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 75,070 U.S.S.A.	The spare should be the same as what's on the car , so it will be the F70 14 redline . The rim I'm pretty sure was just sprayed on the front.

Some overspray would blow through the four perimeter slots and show up on the barrel. In later years, they quit painting the wheels and all were black. Spare tire was same as whatever the other 4 tires were, though no doubt somewhere there's a car that got through with the wrong spare.

A12 Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 21,526 N.E. OHIO, USA	If the car came with "hub caps" and not full wheel covers I thought the wheels were body color and including the spare. If the car came with full wheel covers then I thought ALL of the wheels were gloss black including the spare....at least in '68/'69 except of course the A12 cars cause they were all black wheels and didn't get no stinkin caps or covers

Thanks to all in advance T83 - F70-14 "red stripe" tire Goodyear Speedway (or possibly Firestone Wide Oval there's another thread on that) non-POLYGLAS 16 is a steel "wheel assembly" - 14x5.5" Q5 is a "gloss black" wheel painted "bright turquoise metallic" from the front. 89 is the DODGE "hub cap" part number 2944 089 - stanless/red stripe/fratzog
