Just a quick question. If I use the flaming river 16:1 manual steering box to replace the power steering in my 71 valiant, will I need a new pitman arm as well?

Thanks,
-Jon

What diameter is the output splines on the Flaming River box? If it's the same small diameter style, it the same pitman.

I believe all stock manual 62-76 A-body boxes have the same small output diameter. So I think you will be fine, but I would not assume anything with an aftermarket part/box.

I just put the flaming river box in my Duster and it took the factory pitman arm. It took a little getting used to when parallel parking with the 16:1, but i am really happy with their product.
