To answer your question there is NOTHING set in stone as to how the engine assembly date corresponds to the SCHEDULED production date of the car other than it shouldn't be very long AFTER the SPD. But no matter how close the block is it will NEVER be the original engine .

Who knows, but allot of would be restamp artists out there come up short on knowledge when doing thier deed, and it nearly always shows in the results which makes my job easy when trying to verify original stampings. I'm not giving up any specific information to help them make their efforts less detectable that's for sure.
