My name is shanon and I'm from sydney Australia,
I own a 1965 dodge phoenix which is your Plymouth fury. The 318 poly has now been removed and I bought a re-man 360 for it,my question is have any of you done the conversion?, I'm unsure of what brackets and mounts to use. I've tried www.engine-swaps.com and a few others but no one seems to know the answers.any help is very appreciated.

LA 360 should bolt in place of the polly

the engine mount bracket is diff on a 360,lugs/ears on driver side of block are spaced differnt from a 318/340 LA engine

ez to over come with some washers/spacers

the 360 will need a correct wieghted torque verter or a B&M 360 balanced fly wheel to run the stock polly torque verter

best bet is to use the conversion engine mouts for it,not sure if the polly mounts swap over...but worth looking at while inhand and swaping engines

may need all the later LA front brackets pullys,power steering.... you may be left hand drive...that may make it differant for the brackets/pumps

I do have some pics at home I'll post up, the 360 currently has no brackets so I guess I'll try to source some stock brackets and see how I go, do you know any places online I can buy some from,thanks for the help

You might check with Elko in Melbourne for the brackets...
