does anybody make a 3" PAPER air filter? Rather not go w/ a K&N if possible. I guess I could run 2 factory filters. Thanks.

I think there used to be one many moons ago , I would just stack 2 filters , they will fit nicely under the hood of your Impala .

Fram makes a 3" six pack filter? Yeah I know the Chevy filters are only like 1.5" thick. Any idea what the part number is for the fram? I have the stock unit already

Out of curiosity, why do you want a 3" filter? The standard 6pk filter has more area than probably 75% of the filters on the market.

just looking for more flow. This car will be raced a few times a month. The stock air filter is stifling at WOT. It's either run it with just the base or find a filter that flows.

Because while the filter surface may be fine they create a pinch point of about 1" between the upper & lower housings... Raising the filter lid really wakes up a sixpack...

You can get these accel kool blue ones for pretty cheap and the auction says they are 2". If you can fit it, two of them double stacked would be the ticket.

Maybe just swap them in for race day if you don't like the blue color!

There, I fixed the title for you. Tri-power will better suit your cowl scoop!

don't hate. I don't have the cowl because it's "cool" I have it because it looks best with a Charger and I need some space.
