The more I look, it appears to be an SE with door gills painted on instead of formed in the metal.

Doesn't the VIN start out with WS23?

When I read the description of this car, it seems to me that it stated that the car came with a pair of 72 doors. Does that mean the 71 doors stay with the car, or the owner. I would also like to wish him the best of luck selling this car, at the price he wants, in today's market. Seems a little steep to me, for a project car. Bill

Looks like an R/T to me. VIN is correct an SE would start out WP29. R/T had stickers that didn't fill in the whole indentation. Looks like somebody got crazy w/a magic marker and filled them totally in.

That car is correct, the R/T was a WS23 S=Special, The 71 Bee was WM23 M=Medium

The LUV does show the U 440 Code
The doors are correct but instead of the correct graphics, someone got redneck on the deal and filled them in.

If the hood insert is in good shape ive seen a recent one on the bag go for $550.

When I was into the 71 R/T you couldnt give my the std. R/T hood insert, the Air Grabber was the option.

Dont seem like anythings out of place to me....

Whats the asking price?

I thought the WS23 was an R/T but a few things seem odd.

Yes, the door gills look painted full black.

There are no R/T emblems on the trunk or dash?
Was the canopy vinyl top an R/T option? Or, was it an option on all Chargers that year?

I think just about all '71 Chargers had some sort of vinyl top. Mine had the weird 1/2 vinyl top that went from the front to the B-piller than stopped and was finished off with a chrome strip.

Looks like an R/T to me. Appears to have been green, the re-painted orange.

It looks somewhat rusty to me, can't really tell how bad the rust is from the photos.
