Thanks for the advice. JB-Weld doesn't feather out like body filler does that's for sure. I guess I can always add some thick primer over the worked areas and then sand it down a few times to blend eveything in. The filler I have is the evercoat stuff that sands out super nice, but I'd hate to try it and then have it bubble or lift the first time the engine got up to temp.

I have used fiberglass in the past to fix/fill the dents on oil pan, then some bondo to get more smooth texture and came out great.
With a Charger born in Chrysler assembly plant in Valencia, Venezuela

Just use regular bondo - plastic filler as mentioned , bondo takes heat well and will work , JB weld is way to hard and not flexible , use a coat or two of primer surfacer over the bondo when you are done sanding , if the low spots are small use a regular razor blade to smooth the bondo out , you should not have any problems.
