I am having a hard time getting my door to line up with the quarter and fender on my challenger. It hangs out too high up top and is too far in at the bottom. Also my gap isn't consistant. I can get the panel halfway good until I tighten everything up. Are there any tips someone could offer or should I have someone who knows what they're doing look at it? I'm running out of booze. Thanks, Jon

make sure your bolt plates (in the door)move freely-sometimes they can have debris, dirt and undercoating around them.

I've installed a few hundred doors over the past 35 years, maybe I can help.
Since I know nothing about what stage of assembly your car is in, or why you are adjusting your door, I have to ask a few questions.

Is the front end assembled, both fenders and hood?
Have you changed the door or hinges?
Are the hinges worn?
Has the 1/4 panel been replaced?
Is the rubber door seal installed?
Is the striker installed?
