I searched the tech archive and found nothing on this subject so here goes.
is there another source besides Painless? Not that I have anything against them, just checking options and opinions of those who have gone before me
I am thinking it is time to replace the engine bay/front end harness in my fairly stock 69 dart GTS with a 340, factory air, 727.
Any issues to look out for with whatever you suggest?

Just bought one from Evans Wiring Harnesses at the Nats. Nice piece, all the correct colors and connectors. evanswiring.com.

I bought mine from Year One which is the only place to get the M&H harness.

It was not correct for a 67 Hemi car and I sent them my old harness and the new one and they corrected the error. The wire for the oil pressure switch (idiot light) was on the wrong leg of the harness. It was on the leg that runs to the head lights.

I agreed to pay the shipping 1 way and they were good to work with.

Unfortunately, the drawing they use is incorrect and additionally, it appears there has been some attempt to make the harness as generic as possible as some of the wires were the wrong color for a 67 Hemi car also. I chose to let this go as it is the tach wire which is not that visable and I am not quite that anal. I am sure they would have fixed that deficiency also if I had pointed it out to them.

The Year One stuff is OK. I have used several, on several cars, I was very surprised that the harness they sent me for my lift off actually had the right set up for the coil, etc..

Colors are normally OK, lengths are generous.
