A lot of great discussion on the other thread an this subject but I didn't want to hijack it. I have two questions for you all after reading that thread.
1. Where would you mount an electric "boost" pump on a 69 Dart with a 340 and which brand pump would you use.
2. Is there any particular brand mini starter that is better/worse than another (727 trans)
This is timely because I believe my starter is going out on me anyway.

In referance to my '69 barracuda 235/60 X14 Front
245/60 X14 Rear

1. I mounted a Carter Street Pump (Summit # CRT- P4070)just forward of the front leaf spring
mount. The bottom of the pump's elect.
connections are about 1&1/4 below the frame
rail. I have never had a problem with this
location bottoming on speed humps or drive
ways.

2. I used an original equipment Dakota starter
( junk yard purchase). TTI headers on a 340.
No problems.
