71 B Body rallye dash odometer, took it out and replaced the numbers. Can't it get to align or work correctly. How is it done. Thanks

69 B rallye took me about 90 minutes to figure out. I took it out and reset the new odo to the old odo. You have to set those teeth in the same angle. Its a little difficult. Gentry at AutoInstruments walked me through it...but if you hold it and move the tenths wheel around it should rotate the "ones" place...and with time when the "ones" go to zero out...the "tens" place will start to move. Fiddle around with it, you'll get the hang of it
