I bought my boy an '02 Dakota. The truck is in gorgeous shape, the OEM 16X8 alloy wheels are perfect thanks to the previous elderly owner's care. I'm wanting to get a set of used Dakota wheels and mount some winter tires on them and save the OEM 16X8 for fair weather use. The amount of salt they spread around here during winter is unbelievable.
Here's a pic of the current 6-bolt OEM 16X8 rims on his '02 with the optional SLT package:

I can find these 6-bolt 15X8 (Dakota '97-'00 Durango '98-'00) pretty cheap locally:

I can also find plenty of these 6-bolt 15X7 (Dakota '97-'00 Durango '00) locally:

My questions are:
1. Are these older/smaller 15" rims the same bolt pattern, offset and will they clear the later '02 brake calipers/hardware etc?
2. I believe the speedometer may be off a little but will there be any other adverse affects from going from a 16" rim to a 15" rim, ie: ABS, engine computer etc?
3. Will the '02 lugnuts also fit the older 15" rims?
The above 15" rims are plentiful/cheap around here compared to the 16" rims. Also there are more selections of winter tires in the 15" rim size as opposed to the 16" rim size. I would appreciate any input.
Thanks
