http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MOPAR-65-...itemZ8044451347I have bought from this guy and seen his items at a few Mopar shows..I was very happy with the items I bought from him, including a grille emblem. Not sure if it is the same guy you bought from?? If you need one to restore, I have one packed away somewhere.

Hello Gene, I am sorry to hear of your grille emblem problems with Charlie. I remember that there was a vendor at the 3/01/08 Indy Chrysler Swap Meet at the Indy Fairgrounds that had repro 1965 Grille Emblems FOR SALE. This is a long shot, but you might contact Indy Racing Heads and ask for a list and phone numbers of the vendors from this years swap meet. You might be able to track this vendor down from that vendor list.
Another thought... do you have the original emblem that was with your grille ? I did and I sent it to Charlie and he refurbished it with an overlay then sprayed clear over it. It came out great and it fit perfectly.
Good Luck,
Phil
Thanks to both of you, and Hi Phil. I contacted Charlie and he is going to refurbish my original.

Hello Gene, That's the way to go IMO. I believe Charlie was running an ad to refurbish a couple grille emblems at no cost so that he could re-tool due to his others being destroyed or damaged. Good luck Gene. When do you project that the car will be completed, possibly by the Norwalk Chrysler Classic ?
