Got a picture? Want to see them to tell if they will work with CalTracs mono leaf springs on a mostly street driven car.

The reason I suggested doing it the way I do it is
that all springs arent the same so if you do it with
tacking it then checking it with weight and hanging
you can verify that it doesnt crash at each end...
if it hits either end it will upset the chassis...
but its only a suggestion

I just noticed you're talking about a street car, my experience with the clatracs and sliders are: The caltracs w/ sliders are noisy! lot of smacking, snapping sounds. But at the track they hook like crazy!!

Hey guys, got them all done and driving the car right now Took some pics with it on the hoist, will upload them tomorrow.

As for the street driving, I already drive with the caltracs at zero preload, shocks on 7 out of 9 stiffness, on ET streets (driving them on the chords in a downpour to the shop last night was a true test of my mettle LOL) so the banging of the sliders doesn't bug me....mind you, I didn't notice a difference in noise yet on the street just driving it home an hour or so ago

Here are some pics guys, unfortunately I don't have any yet at rest, but it has a little more room than what you see at full extension here

I installed these the same as Mr P body posted. Have had zero issues. At ride height their 3/4 of an inch past center to the rear.
