No problem. I made the clarification because, perhaps, not work well in a truck but work well in a car.

That was the question I had... are the bad experiences a truck thing, a car thing, an early production thing, or some combo thereof? The number of positive experiences I've heard outweigh the negatives, enough that I bought some for my Sport Fury. Still haven't installed them, so I can't say how they behave or how long they'll last. I will say that while shopping for shocks a few years back, I REALLY wanted to get rid of my KYB's, and Edelbrock tech said they could control a spring that was up to 2x the stock spring rate. That kept me from using them on my Valiant which has t-bars about 3x stock.
So, folks with real experience, can you state your application, and when you got the shocks?

mine was truck and i bought them right after they were released .
i switched to bilsteins and it was a night and day feeling , the stock worn out shock rode better than the IAS' in my case
