I've looked through all stuff and can't find the cables that go to the A?C controls on my 73 Challenger. Should there be one or two cables? I know there is one that goes to the water valve in the engine bay, is there another? It looks like there are a couple of spots for cables on the controls. Does anyone reproduce these?

Cool - Thanks for the info. Local dealer wants $46.47 for it. Are there any sources that are get it any cheaper? I'll take a picture of the back of the controls and see if anyone can tell me what goes on the other side.

Also what is the source for the vacuum that runs the switches? I haven't seen anything I need to hook up for that.

dont think its cheaper but r.ehrenberg sells them on his ebog site.about the wacuum source,on my -70 383 hp there is a vacuum nipple at the rear of the throttle plate of the holley carb, that vacuum hose then goes through a grommet below the blower motor.after that

I found another local dealer that would sell it for $35 and change. There is another guy on Ebay that sells them for $35, so I figured I could get it a little cheaper. Should be here on Tuesday. I still need to get the pic of the back of the control to see if there is something else that needs to be hooked up. Thanks for all the help!

Any idea where to get the cable clip that goes on the heater valve? I had an NOS heater valve and when I installed the cable it snapped. It is the metal clip that fastens to the heater valve and you spread apart to rest the cable on.

I don't even have my heater valve yet. I have my dash completely out and am trying to get everything under the dash ironed out now. If you have a pic of the clip that would be great. I have a 68 satellite that uses a cable clip to hook to the controls and I wouldn't doubt they use the same type clip on a lot of cars?

Thanks for the link and those pics. Gives a good idea of the water valve end. I was worried about the dash end at the present time, but will have to work out that end later. I will keep that all in mind. Thanks again!
