Hi, Has anyone come across a repair for rims that are pretty rusty... I just came across 4 K2 70 date coded space saver rims that are pretty much scaling around the rim edge. Just wondering if they are worth repairing and what way to go about it... they have regular tires on them currently and holding air...

Thanks,

considering most space savers never get inflated - a cosmetic restoration on the rim generally is accepteble.

blast clean, smooth rusted areas with light grinding - apply a good epoxy or polyester filler - prime lightly and paint.
