Whatever you do, don't use the small diameter (8" or less) boosters, they are pretty useless and a waste of money.
If you have the room, I've had real good luck with the booster and master from a mid 80s 5th Ave. Gene

ok, i`m not going with power brakes, IMO the booster is ugly and doesnt fit in with an old car and power brakes are not necessary, manual brakes stop just fine. i took the brake and clutch pedal out of an 80`s dodge truck today. i think i can get it to work in my car, i just need to do some cutting and welding.

I got a MC/pedal assembly from a mid-70's Valiant that had manual disc/drum brakes for my 48 Plymouth. Not completely done with the installation, but so far, all looks good. Needed to cut up the pedal assembly a bit, and need to fab some bracing, etc. The Plymouth is being comverted to front discs, with 10" Roadrunner drums in the rear.

i didnt get the braketry, it would be very hard to do with hand tools as its spot welded in place. maybe i can find someone parting out a truck that can cut it out for me.

Brake pedal brackets for a Dakota (at least 1st gen 87-90) are bolted to the firewall inside the cab. Gene

i found a set up out of a 91 ram 50, it looks like it will work pretty good, i got the break/clutch pedal/slave cyl. for $10.60. the 2 pedals are seperate units the clutch has the return spring built in.
