do you have the lines for the unit on the left ? also the brackets as the ones on the unit on the right will not fit it .
also you can get a new pulley for the one on the right
Yes I have separate lines for both units as well as separate brackets for each.
The only ones I came across on line for sale was from BPP for about $85 plus shipping/ I don't want to spend $85+ if the unit on the left will work in my application.

Yep, I've also got a federal pump on mine. Pretty obsolete, you can still get the lines but not really any pump parts. If I was you I would sooner source a new pulley for the saginaw. I lost the pump cap to my federal pump and nobody I checked out repops them. Everything is different with the federal: pump, brackets, lines, etc. But either will work. Anyone know what the story is with these? Was there a reason chrysler made two different style pumps for the SAME application?

Thanks Ill give it a try.
They will swap no problem. I had a federal pump on my 68 Dart small block A/C car and a federal pump on my 67 383 Fury The Fury pump went bad. So I got a small block saginaw setup for my Dart and transfered the old federal on my Fury.
Federal pumps blow. The Federal pump does not keep up with rapid steering inputs. In daily driving my Dart (hard) around L.A. I end up doing U-turns, quick manuvers and such. I could out run the pump. After I switched to the Saginaw, I never had that problem again.
I don't whip the big ol' Fury around so much, so I wasn't worried about keeping the Federal pump on it.
I know a guy that has autocrossed an orginal AAR since 72 or something. He fought that Federal pump for years. Then he switched to a saginaw and never looked back.
