my bud is replacing the knocking original 318 with a truck 5.9 (about a 97) he's recycling all the accy. drives. got the car pan and pickup,crosswind dual pattern intake, etc, down to the final stuff, IIRC he needs a magnum weighted flexplate for the 904....not a factory part? Best /cheapest source?

use the 94-95 flexplate and add weight to the torque converter

would the 97 use any 360 904 non lu convertor?? if so a local trans shop maybe able to weld the weight in the correct position.

what about the b and m flex plates.. will one them work on the mag engine w/904
