I have been racing at ETown on and off for many years, Friday Night Mean Street, Occasional Sunday Points days, Mopar Meets etc. I`ve gone rounds but have never Won ,I`ve Won in my D150 but have never been able to pull out a Win in the Dart, My home track ( Island) rained out Saturday and after almost three weeks of no racing I decided to go to E Town and run Street Eliminator. I went 3 weeks ago and lost 2nd round because there was not enough water in the burn out area and I spun and lost. This week I changed were I do my burn out to be closer to the water, I was rewarded with consistent 60fts 1.55-57,( they usually aren`t that good at E Town) First round I dialed a 11.64 and was 052 on the tree my opponent was 050 and dialed a 13.21 I caught him and tapped the brakes and went 11.651 for the Win he went 3 under. next round I was 006 to my opponents 053 he was 5 over, I am 11.70 on the brakes, next round I`m 031 to my opponents 148 light hes 6 over, I`m 4 over for the on the brakes for the Win, next round I get the Bye and go -012 but go 11.644 on a 64 dial. in the Semis I`m late 104 to my opponents 088 but I run dead on to his can`t run the number 7 over. In the Final I have to run a fellow Island racer( he drilled me last time out at Island 006 to my 079 light) So I owed him one. I dial an 11.64 , him a 12.07 I`m 028 on the tree to his 079, I wasn`t about to lift because I didn`t want to lose to him again and I had faith in my dial. I go 11.628 on a 11.64, he goes 12.00 on an 12.07 double breakout, I take the Win!!! Yahoo!!! We made a deal to split the purse. Now if I can carry my good fortune over to Island so I can go some rounds and Qualify for the Bracket Finals I`ll be real happy. P.S. I haven`t been an Moparts much lately because I got a job and went back to work 2 months ago after a year and a half of unemployment. I put in 9-10 hours a day and its a 30 mile commute but I`m real glad to be working again!

Nice Job @ Etown Bill !! Glad to see your back working also, I know it is tough out there, I lost my Government job of almost 20 years 2 years ago and it took me a while to find something.
Switched to the dark side...
