Is there a timing light that I can check the timing with, with a full MSD ignition?

I, too, have an Eddy carb and having a hard time with it. I want to check the timing before I blame the carb since I just rebuilt it.

Which make and model light do we buy to do this?

I would think any timing light will work because it picks up the signal from the plug wire.

Some dont work right because of the multiple sparks at idle.I have a Snapon that works and my old Sears light did also.I know MSD sells their own light.Rocky

I'm using a 6AL and a Pro Billet Dist and use a craftsman dial back light with no issues.

Bill thats what my Sears light is.Its 30 years old and I think the bulb went.I tried my SnapOn and it works fine also.Of course the price difference is huge between the two.Rocky
