So I finally pulled the convertible's old fuel tank off the shelf. I haven't seen the inside of the tank since purchasing the car in February of 1999. The tank was emptied and air dried when I stored it in 2001 and it remained dormant until I just pulled it to clean it and paint it (which I'm doing tomorrow). I stuck a flashlight in the filler tube hole and was amazed! it looks brand new inside!! SWEET!! (Still gonna swish acetone on the inside to give it a good cleansing though)

When I peeled the tank pad off, it had a mopar parts sticker on it dated from 1996, so obviously it's not the original tank, but I'm glad it's an OEM replacement! It's now painted and installed in my car with pretty stainless steel straps
