I have a 67 Dart (street car)with a 340, nothing radical just a little above stock with mild cam headers and eddie intake, 750 (3310)holley. 3000 stall converter with 3.91 gears. I am going to replace all the fuel lines, tank and sending unit.

My question is while I am dong this should I upgrade to the 3/8" lines and pickup or stick with the 5/16" system. What are the limits of the 5/16" lines as far as restricting power?

IF YOU ARE GOING TO CHANGE IT ALL ANYWAY, I WOULD UPGRADE TO THE LARGER LINE AND SENDING UNIT. IF YOU KEEP ADDING POWER TO YOUR CAR YOU WILL FIND THE LIMIT ON THAT SMALLER LINE. THERE'S NOTHING WORSE THAN DRIVING YOUR CAR TO THE TRACK, PULLING A CAR LENGTH ON A TRAILERED CAR WITH SLICKS ONLY TO LOSE TO HIM BY 4 LENGTHS BECAUSE YOU COULD'NT GET ENOUGH FUEL IN THIRD GEAR. BIGGER IS BETTER.

If you are taking everything out and replacing them it wont
hurt. When I had my Duster 360 I ran 11.60's @ 116 MPH and
I was running stock fuel lines and a mech pump and never had
any problems.

I was leaning toward the 3/8" line a little anyway, just wasn't sure. Guess I will go ahead and do it. Thanks fellas.
