The motor 360 KB 190'S J heads with 2.02/1.6 Valves, PRW S/S roller rockers, .509 cam with matching valve springs 12.8-1 comp running VP110 fuel strictly strip I currently have a crosswind airgap intake on with a 850 DP wasn't really happy with the way the crosswind fit or how the gasket match turned out. I have a edelbrock TM5 I'm thinking about getting gasket matched and trying it just wondering what kind of performer this intake is?

IIRC it is a small runner single plane. It is definitely the Tarantula series- the precursor the Torker intakes.

Everybody says it is not worth running- maybe marginally better than a stock 4 barrel iron intake, but mine worked pretty well, first on a tired 318 then on a 408 in my '72 demon. the car does have 4.10 gears though, so that helped some. Also, mine was a daily driver, not a strip car.

I ended up switching to an airgap. The butt dyno says it works better, but not by tons. Somebody else can give you better advice about what will be the ticket for low ets in your car.

good luck

Its definitely has smaller runners than the AG and might make it even worse for you...Try a 1" open spacer on the AG. Worked super well on mine when I cut the ccenter divider down and blended everything to the 1" spacer....

It's not going to hurt to try it.I used the TM-5 on my old 340 Cuda in the mid 80's and it worked just fine on my combo. There are "better" intakes, but my car was consistant and that's what I was looking for,not every 100th of a second.
