Thanks for any help. I have a 67 cuda with a 383. It has .890 torsion bars. To keep the car level the driver side is cranked up allmost all the way. So I am looking to install new bars. I can get a pair of 1" bars. Which bars to use on a street driven car?

The factory sized bars held the car up when it was new so I would stick with a set of new bars in the same size unless you want it to ride stiffer.

1" is a good size. Are you running the factory big block sway bar? We have an original set of .890 bars and factory big clock sway bar on my son's 67 440/4sp Dart convertible. It handles nicely. BUT, I'm still thinking I want some .920-1" bars for my 67 Barracuda convertible (will be getting a 440/727). I do have another factory big block sway for the Barracuda.

I have 1" bars on my demon I love them. The car can corner way better than is comfy in the stock buckets with no side support. It rides pretty smooth too.
